Day 89: Wall of Exhaustion

Today I was beyond tired.  Ever hit that feeling where you are so tired that you can’t seem to keep your eyes open no matter how hard you try.  It seems like no matter what you do you are moving through water.  That is what I was experiencing today.

We hit the gym and there was no energy there.  I tried to turn up the speed on the treadmill and it was like led weights were tied to my legs.  It was through pure force of will that I made myself keep going.

I thought maybe I was dehydrated but the truth was I was just worn out.  I had hit the wall of as far as I could go and that was it.  There was no more left in me.

On the bright side I did find another gym species to catalog, like a botanist finding a new tree.  This species films itself exercising for some unknown reason.  They take turns using iPhones and video camera to capture every moment of their work out, I guess to prove that they are actually as cool as they claim.  I really don’t know.  It was interesting to watch.

Daily Recap:

Matt: 35 Painful minutes on a treadmill
Kelly: 30 Minutes on the treadmill  5 minutes rowing.
