Day 189: Turn It Up at the Gym

Typical lazy Sunday except it wasn’t lazy.  First we attacked our house giving it a good scrubbing from top to bottom, not that it was dirty we always keep it picked up, but you need to sweep and mop floors, clean ceiling fans, wipe down walls, all stuff you normally don’t do during a regular cleaning. 

It takes a while to knock all that out, we don’t have a massive house but a deeper cleaning and we also rearranged our bedroom, it took some time.  The last thing we do is mop so while the floors were drying we hit the gym. 

I decided to attack the treadmill and really turn it up today.  I started on a one incline and 4.5 mph and only increased from there upping the speed and the incline every 5 minutes until I finished at 6 mph at a 3.5 incline.  My legs were burning. 

I has sweat dripping from my elbows as I ran.  It was a good thing I had a gym towel with me.  After all the lifting / pulling I did I was warmed up for a work out like this.
