With the legs well rested I decided that today would be
more of an endurance test and since it may also be the last decent day I would
run outside. I have noticed that when I
run with the stop watch and RunKeeper I have a tendency to try to keep up a
pace that I cannot comfortable keep.
With that in mind I ran without either. I started the stop watch on my kitchen table
and figured I would stop it when I walked back in. I started my jog.
The sun was warm in the spots where it shone through the
trees in the shade it was cool but not cold.
I was sweating pretty good a half mile in.
I did my standard three mile loop and it felt good. My legs didn’t feel tired and as I walked
back into the house I was surprised that I had kept such a hurried pace. From start to finish took me 47 minutes. Running while knowing I am constantly being
timed and feeling tired must, for the most part, be purely a mental thing.
Daily Recap:
Matt: 3 miles at around a 4 mile an hour pace.
Kelly: TBD
