Woke up this morning with a fever still at 102 and I
could barely move. I did get a doctor’s
appointment for this afternoon and it couldn’t be sooner, I feel awful!
At the doctor’s office I got examined and was still
running a temperature of 100. My blood
pressure was great through after being elevated about a year and half ago and
that I attribute directly to the exercise I get.
I got a script for antibiotics and was told to rest for 7
to 10 days and that I would probably be infectious for another three days or
so. I was advised not to do anything
except rest and I couldn’t really argue with that since I felt like I had been
hit by a bus.
We had to cancel a trip to Denver and I am going to have
to pause the Blog to give my body time to recover.
I will be back when I am healed. I don’t expect it to
last more than the 7 to 10 days recommended by my doctor.
